1. Trapped in the Sky The pilot episode in the Thunderbirds series, "Trapped In The Sky" features every character, including the villainous character the Hood. In the episode, The Hood plants a bomb into the new atomic-powered Fireflash aircraft's landing gear. The team successfully lands the craft using special elevator cars that can land a plane without landing gear, foiling the Hood's evil plans.

2. Pit of PerilThe U.S. Army is testing a new all terrain vehicle, which falls into a pit. The vehicle is on fire and the crew is stuck in a burning metal shell and running out of oxygen. International Rescue is called to rescue the vehicle and save its crew. They use recovery vehicles that fire high-powered magnets at the Army vehicle and pull it out of the pit.

3. City of fireThe new Thompson Tower, which towers above the clouds and features hotels, stores and small resorts, has just opened. A reckless driver crashes inside the underground car garage, which sets the building ablaze. Everyone is evacuated, and the exits are sealed to cut off the oxygen and stop the fire, but a family has gotten trapped inside. International Rescue is called in to rescue the family. The team uses the Mole, a high-powered drill craft, to get the family out of the burning building.

4. Sun ProbeThe Sun Probe rocket takes off to collect solar rays from the sun, but when the crew passes out due to the heat, International Rescue is called to pull the ship back to Earth. Using Thunderbird 3's tractor beam, International Rescue successfully rescues the ship, but which leaves Thunderbird 3 on a crash course for the sun. With the entire Thunderbird 3 crew unconscious, Brains and Virgil use a transmitter truck to reprogram Thunderbird 3 to fire its retros and turn it back toward Earth.

5. The UninvitedScott returns from a standard rescue, but a mysterious group of fighter planes surrounds him and shoots him down. Thunderbird 1 crashes in the desert, and is later found by two archaeologists who were searching for a mythical pyramid. After Scott returns to Tracy Island, the two archaeologists who rescued him need rescuing because their trailer of supplies explodes. Scott flies out and finds the team at a pyramid, with the archaeologists' truck found outside. He goes inside, and finds out that the fighter planes that attacked him came from this secret pyramid. The pyramid was full of modern technology, and when Scott and the two archaeologists revolt, the base explodes due to chemical gases mixing. Everyone gets clear to see the pyramid explode into a huge fireball.

6. The Mighty AtomTrying to capture the secrets of a new atomic-powered irrigation plant by using a camera disguised as a mouse, the Hood lures International Rescue to the scene in order to steal their secrets. When Thunderbird 2 is left alone except for Lady Penelope, the Hood places the mouse inside. When Lady Penelope sees it, she swats it with a magazine, and prevents the mouse from getting any images of Thunderbird 2. In anger, the Hood destroys the mouse.

7. Vault of DeathAn employee is trapped within the Bank of England's new vault, which can't be opened without a key which is in another country. The vault is programmed to drain the air out to "keep the papers fresh," so the worker is slowly losing air. International Rescue is hired to break in, and uses old subway stations to break into the side of the vault and successfully rescue the worker just as the air runs out.

8. Operation Crash-DiveA saboteur cuts critical wires during several flights of the Fireflash airplanes, causing the guidance systems to go haywire, and crashing the planes. International Rescue is called in to solve the problem. They send Scott to fly in the Fireflash and Thunderbird 2 to fly alongside it. The crew find the saboteur and fix the EPU system before it can crash again.

9. Move - And You're DeadAlan Tracy is a well-known racer. On one race in the desert, Alan uses a new car with a powerful engine, which was created by Brains, but when rival racers see the power of the new car, they take advantage of Alan's kindness and steal the car from him. They leave Alan and his Grandma, who accompanied Alan on the trip, on a suspension bridge with a bomb that senses movement. If they do not die from the bomb, they will both die from the desert heat. International Rescue come and get Alan and Grandma successfully off the bridge using their sophisticated rescue equipment.

10. Martian InvasionA new Martian movie is being filmed, while The Hood, disguised as the film director, forces Kyrano to shut off the automatic camera detector in Thunderbird 1. The Hood traps the actors from the movie inside a cave where the Martian invasion occurs, so the camera crew send for International Rescue, which is just what The Hood wants. The team arrives, save the actors and prepares to leave. But when a member of the camera crew takes a quick shot of Scott about to take off, Scott realizes that this was a setup devised by The Hood. Thunderbird 1 and 2 are able to chase The Hood down and destroy the film.

11. Brink of DisasterJeff Tracy, Brains and Tin-Tin are trapped on a fast-moving monorail as the fraudulent founder of the train breaks into Lady Penelope's mansion. Brains manages to stop the train and the Thunderbird team remove the section of the monorail with everyone inside and watch as the rest of the train falls to the base of a canyon.

12. The Perils of PenelopeA new rocket fuel comprised from water has been created by Sir Jeremy Hodge, a close friend of Lady Penelope and agent of International Rescue, who is being hunted for his extraordinary discovery. Lady Penelope and Sir Jeremy are captured, and the crooks hideout is in the tunnel for a monorail. If Sir Jeremy does not give the kidnappers the formula for the fuel, Lady Penelope will be killed. International Rescue notices Lady Penelope's disappearance and find her in the tunnel and rescue both Lady Penelope and Sir Jeremy.

13. Terror in New York CityThunderbird 2 is accidentally shot by the World Navy after a rescue, putting both it and Virgil out of commission. While Virgil is getting better, a risky plan to relocate the Empire State Building is in the works, and as the building is being relocated, unknown underground rivers cause the collapse of the Empire State Building, trapping two National Television Broadcasting System reporters covering the event. With water rising and running out of breathing room. Brains discovers an entrance to the underwater systems and helps Gordon find them. Since Thunderbird 2 is under repair, Thunderbird 4 gets a lift from the Naval ship that shot Virgil down. Gordon just barely finds the NTBS reporters before they run out of air.

14. End of the RoadTin-Tin's old boyfriend Eddie Houseman visits the Island, making Alan jealous. When Eddie leaves to go back to work, he discovers his company's road systems will be delayed, costing the company thousands. Eddie goes out to detonate a side of the mountain to try and get back on schedule, but the truck, still packed with explosives, slips off the mountain road. Since Eddie has met the members of the Tracy family, the members of International Rescue must save the day without revealing their roles in the secret organization.

15. Day of DisasterA space probe headed for Mars is being transported to its launch site, but in order to do this, it has to travel across the Allington Suspension Bridge. The bridge cannot support the craft and collapses due to the weight, but the force of the impact starts the launch sequence, and the ship will be blown to bits if not rescued in time. International Rescue is called in to rescue the ship. They use Thunderbird 4's grabbers to clear debris away, and Gordon rams the ship to free the cockpit and save the pilots.

16. Edge of ImpactThe Red Arrow fighter plane is far better than any other fighter plane yet created, so the Hood is hired to sabotage the program, and one of the planes hits a weather tower with two meteorologists inside. The plane damages the tower's supporting stilts, and International Rescue rescue the trapped men with jet packs that were sent up to them. International Rescue chase The Hood, who sees a sign saying "collapsed bridge." Thinking that this is a trap, The Hood plummets off the bridge and does not interfere with the Red Arrow tests anymore.

17. Desperate IntruderOn an expedition to find treasure at the remains of an underwater temple for Professor Blakely's museum, Brains and Tin-Tin encounter the Hood, who is also interested in finding the treasure, to keep for himself. The Hood lays a trap, and Brains becomes pinned underneath a column. International Rescue save Brains while taking the treasure back from The Hood who is escaping in a submarine. Thunderbird 4 manages to hit the sub before it reaches the surface.

18. 30 Minutes After NoonOne evening at 7:39, Tom Prescot picks up a legitimate-looking hitchhiker, who straps a bracelet bomb to his wrist telling him the bomb will explode at 8 o'clock. The hitchhiker is part of a plot to destroy the records building Prescot works in, and tells him that the key to remove the device is in a file cabinet. The bomb explodes early and Prescot is trapped in the basement. International Rescue saves him and puts the fire out. The same conspirators soon plot another attack, but secret agent Southern is on the job. He receives a bracelet and is sent to an old castle. He along with two other men have been recruited to destroy a nuclear plutonium store. The store can't be robbed, and is guarded by robots. They are given ray guns that render the robots useless. They drop the bracelets off and prepare to leave, but Southern tells the others that they should meet up with the main man who hired them and take him to the authorities. Southern contacts International Rescue, who use a lancer beam to bust through the steel walls surrounding the plutonium store. Thunderbird 1 takes the bracelets and flies over the ocean and dumps them into the water. Lady Penelope, in FAB 1, shoots down the helijet that carries the gang leader and the other 2 members.

19. The ImpostorsA gang of thieves impersonate International Rescue, "rescuing" a man who fell into a well, but was really busting a hole into the side of a bank's wall and stealing all of the bank's money. The real International Rescue is framed for the theft, and an international search is started for International Rescue, which means no rescues can take place. When a member of the search team gets trapped in space, International Rescue risks being captured to rescue him while secret agents Jeremiah and Lady Penelope track down the impostors.

20. The Man From MI.5A diver boards a boat out in the sea, kills its captain and makes off with coded papers. Then MI5 agent Bondson calls international Rescue telling them that the world is in danger. Lady Penelope meets with Bondson, who tells her that the plans to a nuclear machine have been stolen. Lady Penelope becomes the target for the thieves. The crooks kidnap her as a distraction for the police so they can make off in a submarine with the papers. Scott uses Thunderbird 1's sonar while Gordon in Thunderbird 4 uses tranquilizer gas to knock out the crooks and retrieve the stolen papers. Lady Penelope then returns the papers to Bondson.

21. Cry WolfYoung boys Tony and Bob accidentally call International Rescue when playing on walkie-talkies, sending International Rescue to the scene. Scott takes the boys back to Tracy Island for a tour of their operation, which makes headlines in the local newspapers. This worries the father of the two boys, because he is running a secret spy satellite from his home, which is disguised as a weather tower. The Hood wants control of the satellite and its pictures, and breaks into the house, kidnapping Bob and Tony and throwing them down an abandoned tin mine. He breaks into the satellite's control room and steals the pictures. Scott pursues The Hood while Virgil and Alan rescue the boys in the mine. The Hood falls off a cliff and survives, but the photos do not.

22. Danger at Ocean DeepThe Ocean Pioneer I transport ships are carrying a liquid substance called alsterene, and when the ship sails into a mysterious sea mist, the ship explodes. Ocean Pioneer 2 is launched, but back at Tracy Island, the team is having technical difficulties with communicating over long distances. Brains figures out that the disturbance is caused by high density fuel and low density OD60. The closer the chemicals are to each other, the higher the chances for a massive explosion. Ocean Pioneer 2 is travelling into a sea of OD60, explaining why Ocean Pioneer 2 exploded. Scott lands aboard Ocean Pioneer II while Virgil takes the crew off of the ship just as the engine explodes.

23. The Duchess AssignmentLady Penelope meets up with the Duchess of Royston at a casino, but the Duchess has lost everything except the valuable painting 'Portrait of a Gazelle.' Two crooks overhear their conversation while the Duchess decides to sell her painting to Gazelle Automations Inc. in America. The Butler who is supposed to pick her up at the airport is knocked out by the crooks from the casino, who take the Duchess to an abandoned house and steal the painting, hoping to sell it to Gazelle Automations for their own gain. Thunderbirds 1 and 2 rescue the Duchess. The Duchess shows the CEO of Gazelle Automations the real portrait, an d reveals that the one the crooks stole was a fake.

24. Attack of the Alligators!A new serum has been developed to increase the size of animals which can help eliminate food shortages. Dr Orchard shows his discovery to two men, Blackmer and the boatman Culp. That night, Culp breaks into the lab, stealing a vial of the serum. He accidentally spills some into the sink, which contaminates the swamp water. In the morning, when Blackmer and Culp plan to leave, a giant alligator approaches their boat, and everyone retreats inside the house. International Rescue come and shoot the alligators by the house, but one is too close, and Virgil doesn't want to risk someone inside getting hit instead. Alan then goes out and distracts the alligator and leads him away from the house. Gordon shoots the alligator and Culp gets eaten by another mutant alligator.

25. The Cham-ChamBrains figures out that someone is using a secret musical code called a Cham-Cham to edit the music of a popular band and use it to send details of strikes against military aircraft every time the song is broadcast. To find and stop the ones responsible, Lady Penelope and Tin Tin go undercover to the band's next performance at a hotel in the Swiss Alps. The band's manager, Olsen, is the one responsible for the attacks, and Brains sends a false message telling the fighters to fly past the airfield, where they are then shot down by USAF fighters.

26. Security HazardAs Scott, Virgil and Alan fight a fire, young Chip Morrison sneaks aboard Thunderbird 2. While Jeff decides to do with the young stowaway, the boys show him around the base and their vehicles, explaining rescues where their vehicles were used. The Tracy family waits until Chip falls asleep before transporting him back home, where he wakes up thinking it was all a dream.

27. Atlantic InfernoScott takes over command of International Rescue when Jeff goes on vacation to Lady Penelope's ranch. During this time, the World Navy is testing its new torpedoes in the ocean, and one hits the ocean floor, sending a huge flame 200 feet above the surface of the ocean, posing a threat to the drilling rig Seascape. Scott decides to send Thunderbird 1 and 2. Gordon caps the sea gas and the problem appears to be solved. After International Rescue leaves, another column of fire explodes, causing damage to Seascape. The two operators of the rig are trapped underneath rubble. As the dangerous smoke is getting closer to them, International Rescue rushes to the scene. Thunderbird 4 uses magnetic grabs to lift the men out just as Seascape explodes.

28. Path of DestructionA the Crablogger 1, a new machine that cuts down jungle trees, is being assigned on its first mission. To celebrate, a member of base camp and the Crablogger's operators go out to eat. The next day, everyone prepares for the Crablogger mission. Then the Crablogger's operators and the member of base camp who went out to eat pass out from food poisoning. The Crablogger is out of control and headed straight for the San Martino Dam. International Rescue drain all the nuclear fuel from the Crablogger while Lady Penelope asks the inventor of the Crablogger how to shut it down. The information is relayed to Brains, who shuts down the Crablogger to save the dam and the city of San Martino.

29. Alias Mr HackenbackerBrains has designed a new airliner called Skythrust, which he guarantees is the safest plane in the sky because of a top secret feature. Lady Penelope thinks that the maiden voyage will be a good time to present a new fiber cloth which is quite valuable in the fashion market. The plane is hijacked in air, and the pilot Ashton is told to send the plane to the Sahara desert. The crooks plan to steal the clothes, but Lady Penelope sends a call to International Rescue. Thunderbird 1 and 2 fire at Skythrust's undercarriage to secure the wheels in place. Ashton convinces the hijackers to land in London where putting the fire out and saving the crew and passengers will be safer. But as the ship prepares to crash land, the fuel is ejected in a pod and the craft lands without erupting into a ball of fire.
